Suite du Baron

___

This was, in fact, the private quarters designed for the Baron. With ceilings well over twenty feet, Versailles patterned parquet wood floors, corner windows opening to the historic gardens, this suite of grand proportions and meticulous detail was intended for a nobleman.

Suite du Lucé

___

This suite located directly over the Grand Salon is centered on the primary axis of the gardens. The scale and detail are breathtaking and the expansive view over the gardens provides a glimpse of the historic white oak forest on the property. It is easy to imagine Votaire and Rousseau contemplating the same tableau.

Chambre du Jardin
et Village

___

These rooms were designed by architect Mathieu de Bayeux to host privileged guests invited from all of France and Europe. Each room is accessed from a twelve-foot wide hallway (to accommodate the elaborate dresses of the eighteenth century) and each has spectacular views of the charming village of Le Grand-Lucé or the stunning gardens.
